Fantastic article!!! I had a friend in college who worked at Applebees through school. He graduated with nearly a 4.0 and got hired immediately at a bank … making less than a full-time server at Applebees. There’s a lot of factors that make this economy suck, but one of them is far too many GenXers who weren’t satisfied with letting their 6th grade Honors Students build careers in places like Applebees. So, now everyone’s got a degree, making shit for wages because of oversupply.
