Good article! But, the way you describe mass shootings, you make it sound like they’re an American tradition. Granted, in 10 years, they might seem like it. But they’re really only a recent phenomenon. Before Columbine, they never (that I’m aware of) happened. Why do you think that is? What’s changed about America in the past two decades? Many like to blame civillian possession of semi-automatic rifles. But 30 years ago, people owned semi-automatics, and mass shootings weren’t a problem.
